Mineral Profile
Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz. Color ranges from pale lavender to deep violet, caused by trace iron and natural radiation within the crystal lattice. Most commercial amethyst comes from Brazil and Uruguay.
Appearance
Each piece is a raw cluster or geode section with visible crystal points, varying shades of purple, some with white quartz banding. No two are identical in point density or color saturation.
Chakra & Intention
Third Eye and Crown chakras. In Chinese feng shui, placed in the northeast corner for wisdom. The ancient Greeks named it amethystos — not drunken. Associated with meditation, clarity, and inner stillness.
